ALAN Stewart
Second High Steward
ALAN, the elder son, succeeded as SECOND HIGH STEWART
He married first, Eva, who is usually named as the daughter of Sweyn Thor´sson, although some historians dispute Eva´s parentage. They had no known issue.
By his second marriage was probably to Alesta, daughter of Morggán, Earl of Mar and Ada, he had issue:
David, was one of the guarantees of King Alexander II. in 1219 by which he bound himself to marry to Joan, eldest daughter of King John of England.
