London Dinner Booking Form

Please complete the form by Friday 1 May 2026 at the latest as places are limited and this will be a popular event so book early. The speaker is Pauline Mackay. Pauline Mackay is Professor of Robert Burns Studies and Cultural Heritage based in Scottish Literature. She is Director of the Queen's Anniversary Prize-winning Centre for Robert Burns Studies, Co-Director of Realities and Immersion Glasgow (the centre for research, teaching and innovation in immersive realities). In addition to the intellectual and culinary delights, we will be welcomed to the reception and piped to dinner by Piper Callum Young while our evening will conclude with a performance by Clàrsachd virtuosa, Siannie Moodie.

Travel and Accommodation
The venue, as in previous years, is the Caledonian Club, 9 Halkin Street, London SW1X 7DR (Tel.: 020 7333 8722), very close to Hyde Park Corner underground station, and familiar to many.
Drinks will be served from 6.30 p.m. in the Selkirk Room (although guests are welcome to arrive earlier), and Dinner will take place in the neighbouring Stuart Room, starting at 7.15. There will be some wine on the table.
Dress is Black Tie or Highland dress.
