International Gathering of the Clans 2007 in Nova Scotia

On the left is the ship "Hector" which was the first emigrant ship to leave Scotland and it set sail for Pictou in Nova Scotia.   Many of the people living there are descended from those emigrants

The International Gathering of the Clans will be held in Nova Scotia in 2007 The Clan Stewart/Stuart Association invites all to come and join with them as they gather for five days of activities. The events are planned around the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo which starts the first of July the International Flag Raising and Luncheon with the Mayor, July 5th, along with a registration and reception, "Clans Night" at the Royal International Tattoo on July 6th. Halifax Highland Games on the 7th the Kirking of the Tartans on July 8th. For those who stay over the Tall Ships will arrive in Halifax Harbour on the 13 and 14th of July. Also the Antigonish Highland Games will commence.
