(54) JOHN STEWART, eldest son by second wife of ROBERT , Duke of Albany.

Born about 1380, succeeded his father as EARL OF BUCHAN (S.), and was killed, without male issue, at Verneuil, 1424.

He was succeeded by his youngest brother Robert ROBERT , Earl of Buchan (de jure).
