(27) JAMES STEWART, son of JAMES IV , King of Scotland and Janet, daughter of John, Lord Kennedy, born about 1499.
Created EARL OF MORAY, Lord Abernethy and Strathearn (S.) in 1501.
He died without male issue 1544.
Arms: of Earl of Moray on Seal, 1520.-1 and 4. Three cushions within a double tressure flory-counter-flory (Moray). 2 and 3. Scotland, debruised by a ribbon sinister (Laing).
